Organizing for a happier back to school

Isn't it amazing how Labour Day signals the approach of an endless barrage of paper that will last 9 1/2 months?   I have two kids in school and both came rushing in the door last Tuesday with a backpack full of "stuff".  I immediately took the piles to the recycling bin to read and discard, muttering ... 'there has got to be a better communication system with our school!'  (seriously, couldn't these be emailed?!)

Nature Challenge - Mosaics!

Hubby and I went out for brunch on a whim a short while back.  We took a scenic drive to Thornbury to eat at our new favourite diner, the Orchid.  I love the drive - green grass.....blue sky......tall trees....playful birds....the occasional deer in the right season...it's beautiful and peaceful.

On another whim we decided to stop in to see the model home of a development we probably knew was out of our league, but were curious anyway.  SPECTACULAR!  Truly and absolutely.
